Captain's match Report:

We put UC Molecular Biology CC into bat, with some tight opening spells from both the Sams, with Sam Sengupta knocking over the stumps. Tom the spinner picked up a big wicket courtesy of a blinder at mid wicket from Nick!

Thomas Rowe (2 wickets) and Coton debutant Faseeh (1 wicket) bowled very well in the middle phase, and I managed to pick up 4-3 of 2 overs, collectively bowling them out for 136.

It was the smoothest run chase possible, with openers Nick retiring at 50, classical as ever, and Liam scoring 48 in no time (including a scoop for 4). The game was finished off in 14 overs thanks to Alex Winn and Ollie, the latter playing a switch hit the winning runs for 4!
